Pair of late 18th century to early 19th century flintlock pocket pistols with turn off cannon barrels signed on the bottom of the barrels “Privol A Paris”. The metal surfaces were originally high polish coin type finish and onepistol remains in very good plus to rear near fine condition. The mate shows some darkening and staining with beginning erosion and pitting with no evidence of being cleaned. Both stocks are very good plus to near fine showing slight grain and a bag shape. The pair measure 6” overall with 1 ½” turn off cannon type barrels of approximately .38 caliber with nicely ringed muzzles. The action’s work well and all flintlock parts are original.
