Pair of large bore percussion pistols by Wesley Richards of London in fine to excellent condition, contained within their original case. The pair measure 13-3/4” overall with 8” barrels, approx. .67 caliber, are full stocked to the muzzles with swivel ramrods. The pair show 85-95% original striped brown finish with just some light areas of beginning erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The locks, tangs, and hammers show 75-85% case hardening that is still fairly bright. The triggerguards show 50-60% bright original blue. The stocks are near fine with sharp checkering and 90% original varnish. The pair show silver escutcheons around the barrel keys and bright blue on the keys. Both the barrel and locks are signed and the pair are near fine condition overall. The case is lined in purple velveteen with full maker’s label in lid. The interior of the case is also near fine with just some minor impressions. A correct mold, rods, English style flask, and compartment covers with bone pulls and one compartment contains wads and original key. The label shows just some slight staining and is intact with #170 New Bond St address. The exterior of the case is very good plus with just some
