Pair of high-quality percussion two-shot turn-barrel pistols by Wilson of London in their original case. The pair measure approx. 8-1/2” overall with 3-3/8” barrels of approx. .46 caliber smooth. The pistols arenicely stocked in walnut and finely checkered. The pair are nicely scroll and border engraved with full case hardened finish. The pistols show 30-50% case hardening drifting to a silvery grey brownpatina. There is some light erosion and just beginning normal aging. The stocks are also very good with just a few impressions, small losses, etc. The pair show some bright case hardening where it was protected. These areunusual hand-turned mechanisms with folding triggers that pop out when cocked. The pair are cased within their original to the period wooly felt-lined partition style case. The interior of the case is good to very goodwith small frays, staining, impressions, just normal aging. An original japanned liquor finish type flask, scissor type mold are included.
