Pair of Zoli & Rizzini 12ga boxlock shotguns numbered “1” and “2”. Nicely engraved, English style straight stocks, single trigger, auto ejector, low profile hand-filed raised non-ventilated rib. Pierced releaselevers, nicely deep engraved fences, gold “1” and “2” on triggerguards. The pair show 28” barrels, each gun is engraved “To Paul Henry from Zoli & Rizzini” on left side of breech by factory. Paul Henry was Consul to CostaRica, for a time located in Los Angeles, and was a well-known shooter. Serial #6382 and #6383. Gun “1” is choked “Open” (right) and “Improved Cylinder (left). The gun shows elaborate 7/8 checkered forend, is nicelystocked in select walnut with fancy checkered panels on each side of action. The stock measures 14-7/8” plus to the end of the checkered wood butt. The stocks are satin finished and there are plaques inlaid intoeach belly which are inscribed “PH”. The gun remains in fine to excellent condition showing 98-99% of its original blue and case-hardened finish, just minimal handling and use, a couple of minor storage bumps and
