The lock plate is script marked "Wilson", with "Wilson London" marked on the brass smooth bore barrel without sights. 13 3/4 inches overall in length. The left side of the barrel has three British proofs near the breech. The action and light engraved upper tang are iron and the buttcap, side plate thumb shield, ramrod pipes and trigger guard are silver. Four silver hallmarks are stamped on the trigger guard with a raised relief chiseled "C" on a punch dot background and an ornate finial. The side plate features a military motif that incorporates a spread winged eagle. The ornate sterling silver buttcap features a grotesque face and the ornate thumb shield features a side profile of a man's face. Smooth full length stock with a craving behind the upper tang and a flared butt. Complete with a wooden ramrod with a horn tip.

Condition: Fine. The action and tang have been cleaned, showing some minor pitting. The barrel has an attractive polished brass appearance. The silver parts are fine as polished. The forearm has been repaired, otherwise the revarnished stock is very good with a few hairline cracks, a minor crack near the side plate and a couple small chips missing near the buttcap, along with some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
