This lot consists of a pair of James Geicher marked flintlock pistols with case and accessories. A game bird is engraved behind the hammer and a leaf type engraving over "JAMES/GEICHER" is in front of the hammer, with the leaf motif extended to the hammer. Brass fixed sights on a barrel marked "Wm McLARTY". Breech plug has a pair of silver inlaid bands. The German silver spur trigger is engraved with a sunburst design. The forend cap, reverse plate, barrel wedge escutcheons, inlay on butt, and accent band around the butt are also German silver. The saw handle stock is smooth and has a flared butt. Complete with a brown felt re-lined partitioned custom case with a single conical bullet mold, powder flask, screwdriver, ramrod, key, and oiler.

Condition: Good. The barrel has a worn mottled brown patina. The action has a smooth dark patina. There is some minor flash pitting with a couple patches of minor pitting overall. The German silver is fine. The refinished stock has been repaired in the grip area and a repaired chip near the lock plate, otherwise good with a few minor handling marks and a small chip missing near the lock. The relined case is fine with some minor handling marks and limited minor wear to the lining. Mechanically functions but is loose.
