Pair of Two Cased Factory Class "C" Engraved Colt Custom Shop Second Generation Percussion Revolvers with Factory Letters -A) Colt Second Model Dragoon Revolver


A) This revolver has expertly executed class "C" floral scroll engraving on the sides of the loading lever, rear portion of the barrel, barrel lug, sides of the frame, the trigger guard bow, the top of the back strap and the bottom of the back strap. The muzzle has a decorative band of engraving. Fitted with a smooth walnut one piece grip. The factory letter confirms the configuration, the type of stocks as "Not Listed", that it was shipped to Sports Inc. on September 2nd, 1983 on Custom Shop order #1863-A, that it was produced as a pair with the other gun being a Baby Dragoon on Custom Shop order #1863 and that the set included a presentation case to hold both revolvers. With a single gun presentation case and papers.

Near new with only a few light handling/storage marks and a few scattered minor spots of surface oxidation. The case is excellent with some scattered minor scratches, dings and some wear on the front left of the lid.

B) This revolver has factory class "C" engraving similar to the "A" gun. The main differences are that the grip straps are silver plated and there is no loading lever to be engraved. Stamped "COLT ENG." on the side of the back strap. The factory letter confirms the configuration, the type of stocks is "Not Listed", the engraver's name is "Not Listed", that it was shipped to Sports Inc. on September 2nd, 1983 on Custom Shop order #1863, that there was a second revolver on order #1863-A and that there was a presentation case designed to hold both revolvers. With a single gun hardwood case, powder flask, two cavity bullet mold, a nipple wrench/screwdriver and a Colt Black Powder Series Baby Dragoon accessory box.
