A) Near mint of period replated. The derringer retains nearly 99% nickel finish with some speckling of frost. The grips are excellent with some mild dings and scratches, with most of the varnish remaining. The box is fair with paper loss mostly on the edges. The lid has some edge separation and some old tape repairs, with both short sides and piece of a long side being replacement cardboard. The label has three pin sized holes and limited paper loss, with the illustration and printing remaining clear overall. The interior velvet has some minor wear.

B) Excellent. The derringer retains approximately 97% original nickel finish with some speckling of frost and some patches of exposed brass on the frame. The grips are excellent with some mild dings and scratches, with much of the varnish remaining.
