A pair of distinctive imperial Russian demitasse spoons
made within three years of the Bolshevik
Revolution at the outbreak of World War I. The
bowl of each gilded spoon inset with a coin
of 20 kopeks, the exterior featuring the classic
Imperial Russian Eagle, the interior inscribed
in Cyrillic: 20 Kopek, 1914, S.P.B (for
St.
Petersburg). With a twisted ropework handle
and baluster finial. A perfect gift for the
discerning militaria collector or Romanov
afficionado, completely original and in good
condition. <p>Russian, 1914, with later
Soviet marks.<p>
3 5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) long. <p>
