A) Very good. The metal surfaces have an untouched smooth dark brown patina with some light flash pitting in the area of the flash pan. The markings are a bit weak, but readable. The brass components have an aged patina in the grip area and thumb plate, a darker green patina on the buttcap and very dark green on the trigger guard bow and finial, and on the ramrod pipes. The stock is fine overall with exception of a small crack and splinter missing on the left front upper edge, a minor hairline crack at the upper left side plate, some minor chips around the lock and a few minor dings and dents. The action is fine.

B) Very good. The metal surfaces have an untouched smooth mottled brown patina with minimal flash pitting. The brass has a dark aged patina, very dark on the trigger guard bow and finial. The markings on the lock are clear. The proofs are faded, but recognizable. The stock is fine with exception of a moderate chip around the rear barrel pin, and overall a few minor dings and dents. The action is fine.
