A) Good. Overall the metal surfaces have been cleaned bright and now exhibit a smooth gray patina with some speckling of dark brown. There is some scattered light pitting with very limited deep pitting on the barrel at the breech. The refinished stock is good with a couple minor gouges and some minor dings and scratches, with the forearm altered near the muzzle. The replacement ramrod has a detached, but included tip and the buttcap is undersized. Action needs work as the cracked hammer does not release correctly in the cocked position.

B) Good. Overall the pistol has a mottled brown-gray patina with a darker patina on the buttcap. The trigger guard has an absent screw. The refinished stock is good with the exception of a hairline crack near the slightly ill-fitting buttcap and some scattered light handling marks, with the forearm altered near the muzzle and missing a pin.
