The shape and overall design of the blade front sight and a two leaf rear sight (one fixed, one folding). 13 1/4 inch overall length. The upper left and right flats as well as the top flat are stamped with "LC" proofs, which are highlighted in gold at the breech. "CROWN" over "M" proof is present on left side barrel flat which is partially obscured by the stock. The blued barrel is rifled with a pronounced swamp at the muzzle. The casehardened lock plate is unmarked. Iron furniture with an adjustable trigger and wooden horn tipped ramrod. The full length stock has a single stock wedge, checkering in the grip area and a flared butt fitted with grip cap.

Condition: Fine. The barrel retains 20% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The lock plate retains flashes of faded original case colors, otherwise faded to a gray. Overall the remaining metal surfaces have a brown-gray patina with some minor pitting on the grip cap. The stock is fine with some minor dings, scratches, and pressure dents, with the a minor chip missing near the lock plate. Checkering is crisp overall.

Condition: Fine. The barrel retains 40% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina with some minor pitting. The lock plate retains flashes of faded original case colors, otherwise a gray patina. Overall the remaining metal surfaces have a brown-gray patina with some minor pitting (mostly on the trigger guard and grip cap). The stock is fine with a hairline crack on the forearm (underside near muzzle) and numerous minor handling marks. There are some minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering.
