A) Most likely German in origin. Single bead sight on the concave barrel rib, with a drum style conversion and no visible makers marks. Dual triggers, with the left trigger in the front position, and a pineapple shaped trigger guard finial. Full length stock, with a horn tip, wood ramrod with horn endcap, dual barrel wedges (one absent), and a smooth wrist with metal buttcap. Overall length 15 inches.

Condition: Good. Pitting is visible around the muzzles and nipples, and the metal surfaces show a gray patina with areas of brown spotting and scattered handling marks. Stock is revarnished, with a section absent from the horn tip, cracking around the rear wedge cutout, and mild pressure dents and scratches. Right hammer stops at half cock, otherwise mechanically good.

Condition: Fair, with a mixed gray patina overall, showing green residue along the sides of the barrel rib, pitting at the nipples and muzzle, and a few cracks in the trigger guard. Stock is revarnished and repaired, with mended chips and cracks, pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically needs work.
