Entering the arms trade in 1824, Henry Tatham Jr. worked with his father, Henry Tatham Senior, until 1835, in partnership with his brother in 1846, and finally on his own until 1858. Muzzle engraved band, a swiveling takedown lever on the underside, and scroll engraved frame with a "crown/GP" proof, fish head hammer, half cock sliding safety, "LONDON" on right side and "TATHAM JUNr" on left. Checkered bag shaped grip with blank silver inscription panel.

Condition:
Fine, with a mixed gray patina overall, showing hints of the original case colors, strongest on the hammer, with bright niter blue on the trigger and retention clip. The grip is very good, with some light dents. Mechanically very good.

Very good, with 30% of the original casehardened finish, showing some areas of gray patina, scattered brown spotting, and mild handling marks overall. A few tiny chips are visible where the wood meets the metal, along with some light dents, otherwise the grip is very good. Mechanically very good.
