The pair are signed in script on barrels Lewis & Tomes London. The pistols show folding triggers, full case hardened finish, checkered wood grips. The pair show 60-75% original case hardening which is evenly drifting with some rainbow colors still showing brightly where protected and slightly going soft at the edges. The checkered wood grips are very crisp and one shows a small German silver plaque missing from the wrist. The actions are tight. The triggers, small parts, show bright original blue, the pair are British proofed. The pair are contained within a green felt lined French style case, which is not originally made for these pistols. A proper mold with barrel key also not for these pistols is included, along with a continental made ivory powder flask and two original compartment covers. The interior of the case is veneered rosewood, brass fittings. Exterior of the case is good to very good. The pistols were found in this box and probably the original box was misplaced.
