Pair of Elks Lodge Badges from Ft Worth Texas
Pair of Elks Lodge Badges from Forth Worth Texas and Pasadena California. The Benevolent & Protective Order of the Elks of the United States of America are represented here in this handsome pair of badges. The first badge is from Pasadena Lodge No. 672 and is in full gilt with the 1 1/2" inch fob depicting a man racing some horses in a carriage; this fob hangs from a large elk, also in gilt with a clock in its horns, reading the hour of 11 which is the traditional time when elks toast and celebrate. It is in excellent condition with only one small blemish at 11 o'clock on the fob. The second badge is from Fort Worth Texas No. 124 and is dated 1909. Again this piece is in gilt with an elk holding the official seal in his horns. This elk hangs from a cougar who is resting on the lodges name and number. In excellent condition with only some slight wearing of the original gilt on the cougar. Both badges have their original pins intact.
