The bottoms of the buttcaps are inlaid with silver grotesque faces. The lock plates have beveled edges and integral iron, fenced pans. The locks have delicate goose-neck cocks and frizzens with curled toes. Each pistol has a wooden ramrod with ivory tip secured by two brass bands.
