The collection features two harmonious vases, each featuring a teardrop form with slender flared neck and circular foot. The bodies are decorated with intricate scrolling foliate and floral patterns in tones of green, red, blue, and ochre, framing hand-painted oval landscape scenes depicting distant mountains, trees, and water under softly clouded skies. The decorative motifs are outlined with fine brown lines and bordered with stylized urn designs, while the upper neck and base are finished in a turquoise glaze with brown accent bands. Each vase bears the Doulton Lambeth Faience impressed mark and the artists' monograms for Esther Lewis, Mary Denley, and Josephine Durtnall. Model number 199.
