Pair of Commemorative Colt Single Action revolvers, consisting of Peacemaker Centennial and Frontier Six Shooter Centennial, double cased with fancy presentation grade plaque, issued in 1973,#MPC212 & #212MPC. Gun #MPC212 is a blue and case hardened .45 cal. 7-1/2” Single Action with U.S. Cavalry motif, black powder frame, cartouched wood grips. Gun #212MPC is a 44-40 cal. 7-1/2” Single Action, nickelplated, black powder frame and patent dates, etched Colt Frontier Six Shooter barrel marking, hard rubber eagle grips. The pair are contained in a factory burgundy velvet lined fitted case with glass lid, and remainin excellent to mint original condition showing no dragline on cylinder or evidence of use. Case shows minor storage and handling. This 1973 set is considered one of the finest products ever made by Colt andwere faithfully designed and beautifully made. Est.; $1,750-$3,500.
