Pair of Colt Single Action Army Revolvers, .45 caliber, 4-3/4” barrel, gold plated, finely scroll engraved and signed “Vojode” in script on triggerguards, screwless ivory grips. Factory roll die marked Arvo Ojala on right side of barrel, serial #SA64664 and SA64665 in factory presentation display case which shows factory etched emblem in lid which reads, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid/Arvo Ojala Commemorative/ Serial numbers SA64664 and SA64665/ One of one pair only”. Box is fancily inlaid in hexagonal shape. Arvo Ojala created several commemoratives and presentations during the 1970’s and 80’s and a good deal of the work was factory done and some was outsourced by Ojala through third parties. We are not familiar with this engraver who has signed them on the frame, but the balance of the markings, plating, casing, was most probably done on special order through Colt for Ojala who had a special relationship with the company. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
