A) Manufactured in 1922. Fixed sights, with the two line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations and standard caliber markings below the ejection port. The trigger guard is marked with the triangle "VP" proof and "R" on the left side. Low profile fixed sights, nickel plated Colt marked magazine and fitted with checkered plastic grips with gold Colt medallions. The two pistols come in a pine case with Remington lid markings. There is a pair of hard rubber grips with "COLT" in a banner at the top and the Rampant Colt on the bottom.

Condition: Fine as period replated. The pistol retains 99% nickel finish with a few scattered light scratches. The replacement grips are fine with only a couple of handling marks and sharp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The extra set of grips are very good with a few minor dings and bruises in the otherwise crisp checkering. The case is excellent.

Condition: Fine as period replated. The pistol retains 95% nickel finish with some thinning on the high edges, some frosting and overall scattered minor scratches. The replacement grips are as new. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
