Pair of Charles Schulz hand drawings of Snoopy. Drawings were commissioned for events in Santa Rosa, California, where Schulz made his home and opened an ice rink, the Redwood Empire Ice Arena in 1969. Framed pairing comprises: (1) a drawing of Snoopy wearing a winter hat and carrying a hockey stick over his shoulder with a sign bearing applied text that reads, ''Santa Rosa / Junior Hockey / Club'', with 1958 copyright tag and visible pencil lines around the ink, and (2) a drawing of Snoopy holding a hockey stick upright with a large label, ''Santa Rosa / Senior / Olympics''. Both are matted and framed together to an overall size of 11'' x 19''. Near fine.
