Pair of Browning Midas grade superposed shotguns, 12ga, 30” barrels, choked “Full” over “Improved Modified”. Single trigger, auto ejectors. Long tang, squared European type pistol grip. Serial #48655S75 and#85057S8. The pair are choked and stocked to match, with engraving signed L. Ernst on the rear portion of each frame. The guns remain in fine to excellent condition showing some firing and limited use, and retain approx.98-99% finish. The pair show stocks measuring 14” to the end of the wood, 14-7/8” to the end of the accelerator recoil pads. The stocks are in near fine condition and are very high grade, but not by browning. Thestocks are fine to excellent other than one small area of staining at top of #85057 and a couple of marks to the checkering. The bores and guns need good cleaning, and the stocks very much resemble Perazzi and othercontinental high-grade arms. The guns are retained in a custom leather-covered deluxe-style presentation case. Also, the finish is excellently restored and the ribs hand-filed in European fashion. A beautiful
