<td width="100%">
We have a very unusual pair of hanging lamps fixtures from the 1940's/50's atomic age. These lamp were purchased at an estate sale here on Long Island where the owner was present. She told me the lamps were hanging in the house when her and her Husband bought the home in 1947. The lamps are quite heavy and very well made. They are shaped like an umbrella sitting over a white glass shade. There is alternating petals of gold filigree metal and a stamped black finished metal with beaded edges. The bottom of the glass shade as a similar repeated theme. there are two identical lamps offered for one price. These have been rewired and have about 20" of matching chain each with their original ceiling canopies. These were hung in opposite corners of a room in her home, But I could see them hung close together at different heights. They really have that retro atomic look. They are in very good condition. There looks like there should be three screws to hold the glass shade in, But both have only two. They stay in tightly regardless, But just wanted to mention it. They really don't need a third. The fixtures alone measure 26" tall and 12" wide. As I mentioned, There is about 20" of chain that could be shortened by removing links. These are in great working order and ready to be hung. This listing is for the pair although only one is pictured.
