Pair of American percussion target/dueling pistols signed H. Berg, Davenport. Cased with accessories. The pistols are .36 caliber rifled with 10-7/8” medium weight barrels, browned and striped barrels, case hardened locks, half stocked in select American walnut, carved forends, semi-fluted grip, set triggers, iron triggerguards, adjustable rear sights. The pair remain in fine to near excellent original condition with 80-90% original brown on barrels just thinning and toning slightly. 60-80% original case hardening which is still very colorful, especially on the butts. The varnish wood stocks are fine to excellent and are beautifully made. The pistols are contained in their red velveteen lined French style case. The pistols show a small eagle flask, which is in excellent condition with 75-85% lacquer, select rosewood rods, two cavity American brass bullet molds with screw cutter similar to Colt. Combination tool with different heads and rod heads fitted in case. The compartment cover in the right corner is missing. An original and working key is included. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
