<td width="100%">
Pair of handmade American oak side chairs with round seats, curved back with carved baluster and bulls-eye splat. Rails are turned. Seats have been caned in past, but are now upholstered in antique gold silk brocade fabric with 20th century braid finishing.

These are in good, sturdy condition. One is slightly (1/2 inch or less) taller than the other. You would be unlikely to ever notice this and it is undoubtedly because they are hand made.

These American Federal period chairs from mid 19th century are comfortable and beautiful. They were found in North Carolina in the 1970's at an antique show.
