<B>Pair of Abraham Lincoln <I>Cartes de Visite</B></I>.</B></I> The first CDV is another fine example of #O-84, taken by Matthew Brady. This is an Anthony / Brady imprint of that image; it bears the imprint on the back as well as a two cent proprietary stamp, dating it to 1864 most certainly. A gorgeous and poignant image of the "Great Emancipator". In excellent condition; trimmed corners; double lined gilt border; light peeling on the right edge of the emulsion. <BR><BR>The second image is a sideview of Lincoln, from the chest up of his right side. The area around his picture is cloudy and smoky making the great man appear almost mythical in this particular pose.
