Colonials Pair of 1787 Connecticut Coppers. <b>Miller 1.2-C Rarity-3 VF25. The "Muttonhead" type. Rather glossy chocolate and steel brown. Nicely struck and well centered. The date is strong. The only defect is a small patch of very light verdigris at the top of the head. MDS. Weight 124.5 grains. Miller 32.2-X.1 Rarity-2 VF30. Choice glossy medium brown. Nicely centered and well struck. The date and legends are full and bold. The only defects are a couple barely visible planchet striations through the tops of the 17, as struck. Weight 158.4 grains. A nice pair.
