Pair Antique Louis Orr Rheims Cathedral Etchings. These colored etchings are catalogued as ''West Front'' and ''Transept''. The artist, Louis Orr (1879-1966) was commissioned by the French Government to make etchings of the cathedral of Rheims in 1917 when it was believed that this famous ediface would not long withstand the heavy bombardment of the Germans. These hand-tinted prints measure 16 1/2'' x 22 3/4'', the visual size is 12 1/2'' x 19''. The period frames are in excellent condition and provide the perfect presentation.

Items not paid for upon the non pay warning, will be relisted for resale within 10 days. You represent that you are over the age of 18 and can enter into legal contracts. *** The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser, regardless of the time the bids were placed. In the event of a tie between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute.
