Oriental male and female figures are lovely, and the lamp shades with molded/pressed roses make these lamps truly EXCEPTIONAL!

Two figural boudoir lamps with fantastic molded plastic shades. One lamp is a mandarin woman with a fan, the other is a figure playing a stringed instrument. I believe they are cold-painted ceramic, which is in very good condition, having only a few tiny chips. They have a soft low-lustre patina. Each is mounted on a carved wood base brushed in gold paint for accents. Their faces are delicate and lovely, with downcast eyes, making them look very serene. Each lamp is signed Kupur on the back. The cords are old and cracked, and will need to be replaced, and the top of the musical instrument is broken off; it seems to have been touched up to make it less noticeable(see photo). There is one small chip on the lady's fan. The shades have pressed (raised) pink and red roses--truly unique. I am selling these as the pair.
