Included in this lot for bidding is a Packard Paymor Butler wallbox jukebox remote. The wall box would have been mounted to the wall, or set on the counter of your personal diner booth, insert 5¢ for a single play, select your track with the turn-style knob, and your song will pump straight to your booth. The Packard Butler was an early model wall box, manufactured in the early 1940's. The case of the piece is composed of chrome plated aluminum, and is marked top to bottom with; "Manufactured Under Patents No. 1,595,241 & 1,800,645. Other Patents Pending - Packard MFG. CORP. - Indianapolis, IND., U.S.A." - "Turn Knob to your choice before depositing nickel - plays 1 to 24 selections". The Packard Butler is in good aesthetic condition, and appears to be complete - including the original case key. The interior working of the box does show a severed cable. The box measures 10 3/4" tall, 6" deep, and 7 1/2" wide.
