<td width="100%">
Packard "Butler" Chrome Wallbox, made by the Packard Mfg. Co. in the 1940's. This is a prewar unit that takes nickels. This wallbox was made to go with the Packard Pla-Mor in 1946 and the Manhatten in 1947. Since these two were only manufactured for two years, they were made as a universal wallbox to be used with most of the other 24 play jukeboxes. The Packard Mfg. Co. was formed by Homer Capehart in 1932, but produced nothing until 1940 because Homer worked for Wurlitzer. The "Butler" was produced for nine years, along with the two styles of jukeboxes and other ornate speakers. In 1951 Wurlitzer bought all of Packards assets and shelved them. This wallbox is all original. The condition is very good, with the exception of one hole (cigarette burn?) in one of the red turn knobs. The title selection strips are absent, but are easy to replace. This unit weighs in at ten pounds. The key is included. This will make a wonderful addition to someones collection. See photos. Take a glance at my other items. Thank you for viewing.
