Picasso created between 1930 and 1936 the Vollard Suite for his art dealer Ambrose Vollard. The Suite contains one hundred prints on various themes in Picasso's work, from the Minotaur to Artist and Model. From an edition of 303, this plate is a fine example from the Suite. Signed 'Picasso' in pencil lower margin. Picasso signature watermark visible lower margin.
