<b>Notes: </b>One continuous tow of carbon fiber is spun onto a computer controlled mold by a robot arm. This predesigned pattern process is used for rocket fuel tanks, space vehicles and aircraft components. The process was partly developed by NASA for producing light, strong and cheaper cylindrical units from fiber material.
