DESCRIPTION: PROGRESS OF LOVE: THE PURSUIT. The painting is a re-interpretation of "The Progress of love: the pursuit? by the renowned French artist Jean Fragonard. As he was a representative of rococo, an artistic style evolved from the early eighteenth century, evolving from the late Baroque (the term "rococo" has a disparaging connotation: rococo derives from the French word used to describe the stones and rocks used in the gardens as embellishment), his works are distinguished by the great elegance, magnificence and ostentation, characterized by wavy branches, undulating curls and floral arabesques. His paintings are characterized by a particular use of light and a rarefaction of shares used as expedient to make light of some parts such as drapery and white hair female. The painting suggested, is part of a "cycle" that goes from the birth of a love to his crown and includes:
