<p><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext'>PRIMO CARNERA </span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial; color:windowtext'>(1906-1967). American boxer born in Sequals, Italy. He defeated Jack Sharkey for heavyweight championship in 1933 and lost it to Max Baer in 1934. In 1937, in a bout with boxer Eddie Scharf, Carnera hit Scharf so hard that Scharf died from the injuries. Noted for his great size and strength, Carnera became a professional wrestler in 1946.
