Primitive oil protrait in oval frame of young boy, Edward Pollack II, 1864-June 3, 1866. Painted in the style of Gilbert Stuart. Philadelphia relative of Mrs Joan Pollack Sickler.
Some uneven crackelure in the varnish layer. Original stretcher has been re-mounted in later, gold painted frame. Minor rubbing to canvas at the very top (at folded edge). Frame is 26.25" tall and 22" wide.
