Masonic sash and apron attributed to the 17th President of the United States, Andrew Johnson (1865 - 1869). Johnson initiated (May 1851), passed, and raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in Greeneville Lodge No. 119 (now No. 3), F. & A.M., Greeneville, Tennessee. Leather apron has blue velvet facings and silver bullion embroidery and tassels with a similarly designed neck sash. The apron is named to Johnson and gives the lodge details.
