PREDATOR II SPEAR MASTER REPLICAS ARTIST PROOF MINT IN BOX VINTAGE ALIEN!

ARTIST PROOFS are incredibly rare! A Holy Grail amongst Replicas! There are numbered production pieces, then there is an ARTIST PROOF! All say LIMITED EDITION: but Production pieces have a number after. Example 69/2500.

Back in 2003/2004 Stan Winston Studios sent the real prop to Master Replicas. From that original, 10 ARTIST PROOFS were painted with slight variance to test lighting, shading, and overall display. From those 10 ARTIST PROOFS, the released version was chosen. No way to tell if this was that one but it sure looks good!

MY RESEARCH!

These were released in 2004 so this is Vintage. Master Replicas went out of business in 2008, ending all existing runs early. Though 2500 were licensed, the highest number I found is #898 so I believe less than 1000 were actually made. Coincidentally, it is the only other one I even found for sale, Anywhere! It is has no box, and was broken and repaired at some time. They want $900.00 for theirs!
This piece was never displayed, has never been offered before now, and comes from the original owner. It has never even seen the light of day retaining mint condition and all original elements, still in the box!

This is big, heavy, and fragile, and the mount provided is a disaster waiting to happen. Based on what I have seen, many have been dropped, destroyed, and tossed out over the years. How many of the 10 ARTIST PROOFS survive? Still in the original box? Again, this is a very rare find!

Spear, stand, and all contents are in GEM MINT CONDITION! Box is dusty and shows minor edge wear. I would grade it a 7-8 range. Things like this rarely, if ever come around!
