Huddersfield : Printed for the Author, by Sikes and Smart … [1800]FIRST EDITION, with engraved frontispiece (watermarked 1796), 96-pp, 8vo, finely bound in half dark brown polished calf : a nice copy, inscribed on title-page "Wodehouse. 1800". Date from ESTC. Pontey (flourished 1780-1831), about whose life little is known, was planter and tree pruner to the Duke of Bedford and a nurseryman in Kirkheaton.
