A nice early 20th century gadget cane that transforms into a tobacco pipe by unscrewing the 2" turned maple knob,which is actually the pipe bowl with aluminum mount. The stem of pipe is concealed within hollow shaft. It is anice figured hardwood with aluminum mounts and bone mouth piece, 4" long. The shaft is malacca with a 4" brassferrule. Total length 35".Moderate wear to finish of shaft, pipe appear to have never been used, missing a .5" collar just below bowl/handle.(EST 200-300)
