A 16x20 inch with black borders limited edition 1/25 full glossy print of Sophia Loren on the set of Operation Crossbow at Emstree Studios in Hertfordshire in 1964. Produced from the original 1960's negative taken by famed photographer Ray Bellasrio. The image has been professionally cleaned. Ray Bellisario was born in 1936 of Italian immigrant parents, the youngest of a family of eleven. His parents eked out a precarious living selling ice cream from a hand cart along the cobbled streets of the Yorkshire mining town of Pontefract. From these humble and and unlikely beginnings came the man who later became internationally known as the "Hammer of The House of Windsor". Ray went on to photograph Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot, Charlie Chaplin among others. Provenance: Stamped on verso by copyright holder with coa.
