Lot of two anonymous albumen photographs found among the effects of Peter Hartwig, Acting Chief Engineer, USN and vet of the "Brown-water Navy" who served on the tin-clad powder ship Judge Torrence. Inlcudes an anonymous, albumen photograph, 7.25 x 5.25" mounted on larger board of the Torrence. PLUS an anonymous 8 x 5.75" albumen image of a steamboat model advertising the services of the Steamboat and Mercantile Job Printing, of Meigs County, Ohio. Both clean but a hint light in tonality.
