<B>PHOTOGRAPH INCIDENTS OF THE WAR GETTYSBURG 1863.</B></I> It was back of this place that the Federal cavalry met the Confederate infantry in July 1863, and on the left of the picture can be seen Seminary Ridge, where general Reynolds was killed. The view is taken form Cemetery Ridge, where our artillery was massed, and against which the Confederates directed their most terrible assaults in the last days of fight. This is the albumen image taken by T. H. O’Sullivan July 1863. This photograph was printed by A.
