An 8 x 10" photo album with paper wrappers entitled "National Association of Railway Commissioners Convention at Deadwood and Tour to Pacific and Yosemite Aug 15th to Sept 6, 1905" containing a total of 49 silver gelatin photographs ranging in size from 4 x 5" to 8 x 6.75." The album documents the frolics of these commissioners of the rails in various places in the west. Includes a great photo of a stagecoach in Deadwood, the group assembled at the Custer Battlefield, swimming at Glenwood Springs, Colo, at Yosemite and other points. Cover inked "Mrs. William Brown, New Castle, PA"; with tipped-in card of Ralph Webber Earle of Chicago, the official photographer. A fine, vernacular album.
