This statue head was donated by actress Natalie Dormer to the UK children's charity NSPCC.

A cast-autographed Santa Muerte statue head from the dark fantasy television spin-off Penny Dreadful: City of Angels. Magda (Natalie Dormer) purposefully knocked over a statue of Santa Muerte within a shrine dedicated to the Angel of Holy Death in the show's seventh episode, "Maria and the Beast", as she offered to be Maria's (Adriana Barraza) saviour and end her suffering. The statue head is in the form of a grey hooded skull, made of plaster with shades of black paint applied to create an aged appearance. The lot is autographed in black marker by several cast members including Natalie Dormer, Daniel Zovatto, Kerry Bishé, Adriana Barraza, Jessica Garza, Michael Gladis, Johnathan Nieves, Rory Kinnear, Dominic Sherwood, Kyle McArthur, Stephanie Arcila and Lorenza Izzo. There are signs of intentional damage from where the statue was broken on screen, exposing the plaster in several places, notably round the left side of the hood. The lot is accompanied by a letter of authenticity and a compliment slip, both signed by Dormer. Dimensions: 9 cm x 13 cm x 18.5 cm (3 1/2" x 5" x 7 1/4")

All hammer price proceeds from this item are being donated to the NSPCC. This lot is zero rated for VAT purposes.
