A Most Beautiful PAIR of Japanese Imari Vases, and Quite Rare in the fact that these Vases still retain their Original Lids and Stoppers. These jars were actually intended to hold Spices or Tea, and the Stopper and Lid, or the Double Lid System helped keep the contents fresh and intact, and away from any little bugs that may be nearby. Rich Vibrant Iron-Red, Rust and Blue decorate the Pure White Porcelain Bodies. In Perfect condition, no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs of any kind!
