<td width="100%">
We are privileged to offer a wonderful pair of French sterling brushes 950 quality (with the Head of Minerva and No. 1), covered with blue Chapleve enamel, and each bearing a portrait miniature of a lady. One is playing a lyre, while the other on the smaller brush (measuring 6.5 inches by 1.4 inches) is holding a garland of flowers. Signature looks as though it is " Poler".

The enamel is a dark rich blue and there are no chips or damage.
Would assume that they date to the period 1910 to 1920.
Even the brushes are in good condition. I would assume that they were used as clothes brushes.
