PAIR OF MCKINLEY CAMPAIGN JUGATES. Pair of McKinley jugates from 1896. A bright, clean, 1.75", two-sided celluloid housed in a brass ring, the reverse with an unusual advertising component -- the piece issued by the "New York Shoe Trade" organization depicting a lady's boot and a gold coin labeled "Sound Money." (Similar to Hake #3135) Together with a McKinley and Hobart photo badge on a GAR star, meant to appeal to Union Civil War vets. Slightly light with slight imperfection/stain on Hobart, original ribbon and clasp. PLEASE NOTE: THIS LOT WILL BE SOLD ON EBAY LIVE AUCTIONS BETWEEN 3:00-4:00pm EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME ON MAY 10, 2002.
