<B>PAIR OF DRAMATIC AMETHYST CATHEDRAL "WINGS"</B></I><BR> <I>Serra Geral Formation, Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, South Region, Brazil</B></I><BR>This matched pair of amethyst geodes comes from the famous amethyst- bearing lava flows of southern Brazil. Their dramatic, sweeping form was created as the original amethyst "bubble" was stretched, shaped and cooled as it went through the molten lava flow. With deep purple coloration and well polished agate edges, this pair is in fine condition. Both halves are 26 inches wide and between 36 and 36 ½ inches tall.
